Analyst WorkBench and Navigation button in arrayAWB 9.0.2 (Restricted to a maximum of 255 columns. Ref: AWB help, page 4-2.) Adding Accounting navigation button to array. Done by adding a navigation button and hidden field to track array row. Results in imperfect solution because when returning back to panel the scroll position past 1 page is lost, i.e., the cursor is returned to the correct array row, but the page scrolling is lost. Select the array with left mouse button. Right click. Delete Propagated Fields. Click Yes to continue with deletion of Portal/J overrides. Maximum number of columns is 255. If necessary, knock down the length of columns to make room for two new columns. In this example 5 spaces are needed. Shuffle the fields left and right to make row for the new columns. Edit, Add, Data Field. Position it in its new location and shrink it to length 1. Define as TIG11482 (Accounting navigation button to X280 as an example), Intensity=Norm, Hilite=Underline, Suppress Edits, Protect. Edit, Add, Data Field. Position it right of TIG11482 and shrink it to length 2. Define as TIG11592, Intensity=Dark, Hilite=Off, Suppress Edits, Protect. If necessary due to the length, split the column headings into two labels and edit as necessary to get them lined up. Keys, Define More Detail, Target Panel Suffix=X280 (for example), click the new DESCRIPTION-15 field (goes blue), click the new MULTI-ACCT-IND (goes blue), click OK, click the new MULTI-ACCT-IND (goes red), click OK. MULTI-ACCT-IND should now be a navigation button. Options, Define Array. Left click the left most data field, left click the right most data field. Right click and enter 10 for Occurs. Open the P/J editor. It should be OK. Save/Close. By webmaster | Analyst WorkBench | add new comment
